Breakfast Ashburton with Phill Hooper

I'm Phill Hooper but everyone knows me as Hoops.

I'm a local lad. Born and raised in Ashburton. I returned here in the early 90's after a few years in Christchurch, and a couple in Scotland and Europe.

I am punching so far out of my weight with my gorgeous wife Manda, and I have three awesome kids (most of the time) Josh, McKenzie, and Maddison.

I started in radio in '95 and have loved every minute of it. I managed to fluke the 2012 NZ Radio Award for Best Provincial Host (a very quiet year for entries). I love all sports and am very, very good at eating!

I also like good beer and good company.
